Why Repair Must Come First
Epoxy bonds to the concrete substrate. Cracks, spalls, and weak areas provide no bond and will telegraph through even thick coatings causing early failure.
Crack Routing and Filling
Surface cracks are routed to a consistent width and depth then filled with semi-rigid epoxy filler that accommodates slight concrete movement.
Spall Repair
Spalled areas are ground to sound concrete and filled with polymer-modified cementitious or epoxy mortar to restore a flat surface.
Surface Profile Creation
After repairs, we grind or shot-blast the entire floor to create the surface profile needed for maximum epoxy adhesion. This step is non-negotiable.
