Cypress TX (77429, 77433) has grown into one of the largest unincorporated communities in Harris County — a sprawling collection of master-planned neighborhoods north of I-10 and west of the Beltway that collectively house hundreds of thousands of residents. It's also one of our highest-demand service areas, because Cypress garages tend to be large, the homeowners are invested in their properties, and the 1990s–2000s slab vintage means a lot of floors are due for an upgrade.
Cypress Communities We Serve
Bridgeland
One of the top-selling master-planned communities in the US. Post-2007 slabs in excellent condition. Large homes with 3-car and tandem garages. Premium finishes — metallic, full-flake, custom zone layouts — most popular here.
Stone Gate
Early 2000s community with 2- and 3-car garages. Slabs from 2000–2010 range — good condition, oil staining common in high-mileage homes. Full-flake chip most popular finish.
Longwood
Mid-1990s vintage. Solid community, slabs showing typical age-appropriate characteristics. Diamond grind prep standard here — acid etch insufficient on 30-year concrete. 2-car garages predominate.
Fairfield
Large established community. Early-to-mid 1990s slabs. High volume of floor replacement jobs — many homeowners replacing 10+ year old DIY coatings. Solid gray and light chip popular.
Copper Lakes
Late 1990s vintage. Well-maintained community. Standard 2-car garages, some with extended back sections used as workshops. Sport court / hobby floor zone requests common.
Blackhorse Ranch
Early 2000s build. Upscale community with large lots and garages. Many 3-car homes with extra storage or workspace area. Decorative chip and metallic both popular.
Towne Lake
Newer luxury community centered on a large recreational lake. Post-2010 slabs in excellent condition. Premium finishes — metallic and custom multi-zone — predominant. Large homes, large garages.
Cypress Creek Lakes
Post-2007 slabs. Family-oriented community with standard 2- and 3-car configurations. Mid-range finish requests — decorative chip, solid gray. Good MVE conditions (newer construction).
Cypress Slab Considerations
Cypress sits in Harris County clay terrain with characteristics similar to Katy — expansive soils, periodic flooding exposure (particularly communities near Cypress Creek), and slab-on-grade construction throughout. The 1992–2005 build vintage that makes up the majority of Cypress housing stock means most slabs are mature enough to have developed some combination of oil contamination, surface hardening, and minor shrinkage or settlement cracking.
Our approach in Cypress is the same as in Katy: calcium chloride MVE test at the estimate visit, crack mapping and assessment, surface hardness evaluation, and a system specification that accounts for what we actually find — not a one-size system quoted blindly from square footage alone.
