Memorial Houston — the corridor of established neighborhoods along Memorial Drive from Loop 610 to Highway 6 — is home to some of Houston's most valuable real estate and its most discerning homeowners. Garage floor coating requests here consistently skew toward premium finishes: metallic systems, custom zone layouts, high-gloss full-flake with decorative borders. We serve the entire Memorial and West Houston corridor as a natural extension of our Katy service area.
West Houston Areas We Serve
Memorial Villages
The six incorporated Memorial Villages are among Houston's most prestigious addresses. Homes range from 1950s originals to 2010s tear-down rebuilds. Slab vintage varies significantly — older slabs require full assessment. Premium finishes only: metallic, full-flake, custom borders.
Spring Branch
Rapidly gentrifying neighborhood with a mix of original 1960s–1980s homes and new construction. Wide variety of slab ages and conditions. Strong demand for garage upgrades in recently remodeled or renovated homes.
Tanglewood / Briargrove
Upscale established neighborhoods near the Galleria. Post-WWII to 1970s homes, many renovated or rebuilt. Slab assessment critical here — original slabs from this era vary in quality. Premium finishes typical.
Energy Corridor
Residential neighborhoods adjacent to Houston's major energy employment corridor. Mix of 1980s–2000s homes. High income, high expectations — metallic and full-flake systems popular. Good access from I-10.
Eldridge / West Oaks
1990s–2000s suburban neighborhoods west of Beltway 8 and south of I-10. Standard 2-car and 3-car garages. Good slab condition. Mid-to-upper finish requests — decorative chip and solid color most common.
Bear Creek / Copperfield
Large 1980s–1990s established communities adjacent to Katy. This is the geographic bridge between central Houston and our Katy core service area. Mature slabs, oil saturation common in older garages.
What Memorial Homeowners Typically Ask For
The Memorial and west Houston market has a different profile than the suburban communities we serve in Katy and Cypress. The homes are older, the renovations are more extensive, and the finish expectations are higher. A few patterns we see consistently in this area:
Custom zone layouts: Memorial homeowners with larger garages frequently want distinct zones — a show-car area with high-gloss metallic, a utility zone with solid gray and anti-slip, a dedicated bike/fitness zone in an accent color. We do custom zone work throughout this area.
Metallic system requests: The 3D wet-look metallic finish is proportionally more popular in Memorial than anywhere else in our service area. Silver, smoke gray, and champagne gold metallic pigments are the most common requests.
Older slab remediation: Many original-construction homes in Spring Branch, Tanglewood, and the Memorial Villages have 40–60 year old slabs. These can be coated — but they require more prep time (grinding, crack repair, possible MVE mitigation) and the assessment visit is especially important before committing to a price.
