This means slab ages vary significantly by section — from 30+ year slabs in the original neighborhoods to 10–15 year slabs in the later additions.

Older Cinco Ranch slabs (built pre-2000) typically show more surface wear: hairline shrinkage cracks, tire marks from decades of use, and oil saturation in the spots where cars have always parked. These are normal for slabs of that age and are fully addressable with proper preparation — diamond grinding removes contaminated surface concrete and opens the pores for epoxy penetration.
