Why It Matters Before Epoxy
Epoxy floor coating creates an impermeable barrier over concrete, closing the micro-pores and hairline cracks through which radon enters. While epoxy alone is not a certified radon mitigation system (severe cases require sub-slab depressurization), sealing the slab surface meaningfully reduces entry points.
