Prairie Slabs and Proper Bonding
Young Ranch garage floors are mostly recent pours in good condition. The challenge is the dense, troweled surface typical of new construction, which a coating can’t bond to without preparation. We diamond-grind the slab to a uniform profile and address joints and any minor cracks before coating.
Where the soil holds moisture after our heavy rains, we test the slab and use a moisture-tolerant primer so vapor can’t push the coating loose down the line.
